If you’ve been injured in a car accident, the first and most important step is to get evaluated by a medical professional right away—go to the hospital or urgent care to rule out any serious injuries. Once you’ve been checked and stabilized, contact our clinic for a thorough post-accident evaluation.
Even if you don’t feel severe pain immediately, it’s common for symptoms like neck stiffness, back pain, headaches, muscle soreness, or whiplash to appear days or even weeks later. These injuries often involve soft tissue damage that can worsen over time if not properly treated.
At our clinic, we specialize in comprehensive car accident recovery. Our team provides chiropractic care, physical therapy, stretch therapy, and massage therapy—a full range of treatments designed to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, restore mobility, and help your body heal naturally.
Our goal is to help you recover fully and return to your normal life pain-free, with personalized care plans tailored to your specific injuries and needs.
Many people choose to hire an attorney after an accident to handle their case and communicate with the insurance company.
If you’re represented by an attorney, we can treat you under a medical lien or Letter of Protection (LOP). This means you’ll receive all necessary care without paying anything out of pocket, and our clinic will be reimbursed directly by your attorney once your case settles.
This allows you to focus on healing, not the financial side of your recovery.
If you decide to handle your case on your own, it becomes what’s known as a third-party case. In these situations, the at-fault driver’s insurance company is responsible for covering your medical bills.
We do accept third-party cases; however, before starting treatment, we’ll need a written guarantee or letter of payment from the insurance company confirming that they’ll cover your medical expenses for the services we provide. This ensures there’s no confusion or delay in processing your claims.
If you have Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage under your auto insurance, it can help pay for your medical treatment regardless of who was at fault.
In Maryland, PIP is automatically included in most policies unless you’ve waived it, and it can cover medical bills, lost wages, and related expenses.
In Washington, D.C., PIP is slightly different—you must elect PIP coverage when setting up your policy. You can either choose to file a PIP claim (which pays your medical expenses directly) or a liability claim (which seeks compensation from the at-fault party’s insurance).
